Power consumption
We measured system power consumption, sans monitor and speakers, at the wall outlet using a Watts Up power meter. Power consumption was measured at idle and under a load consisting of a multi-threaded Cinebench 2003 render running in parallel with the "rthdribl" high dynamic range lighting demo.

The P5N-E does quite well in our power consumption tests, drawing fewer watts than the 122-CK-NF68. The Striker Extreme, however, proves to be a bit of a power hog. It manages to draw a full 15W more than EVGA's rebadged reference design, proving that there's a price to be paid for fancy LCD displays and scads of blue LEDs.
