Call of Duty: World at War
We tested the latest Call of Duty title by playing through the first 60 seconds of the game's third mission and recording frame rates via FRAPS. Although testing in this matter isn't precisely repeatable from run to run, we believe averaging the results from five runs is sufficient to get reasonably reliable comparative numbers. With FRAPS, we can also report the lowest frame rate we encountered. Rather than average those, we've reported the median of the low scores from the five test runs, to reduce the impact of outliers. The frame-by-frame info for each card was taken from a single, hopefully representative play-testing session.

The GTX 275 pulls out a victory here, although the match-up is very close indeed. The 4890 OC's median low frame rate is only two FPS lower than the GTX 275's.
