I'm pleased to report that the FV24 does indeed use these natural advantages to its benefit. I installed Windows XP on the box, and everything worked right on first boot. I installed VIA's latest 4-in-1 drivers and new Savage4 video drivers, just to be up to date. (Well, and WinXP's included Savage4 drivers wouldn't run Quake III properly.) No additional drivers were necessary for the system to recognize the NIC, Firewire ports, or anything else. From there on out, the SV24 worked just fine for mezero problems.

To put the SV24's size into perspective, I've compared it to a slightly smallish two-year-old, my son Jr. Damage. He's already latched on to the SV24 as his own, and gets wildly excited when he gets near it.
