Workstation-class applications
Desperately searching for differences between AGP 4X and 8X, I ran the Ti 4200 cards through SPECviewperf to see if any of its tests might show us something interesting.
Well, I suppose that's interesting. The AGP 4X card is markedly faster in four of the six tests. Only the last test, Unigraphics, benefits appreciably from AGP 8X.
