Memory performance

Although the SY-P4X400 DRAGON Ultra has some support for DDR400 memory, the limited availability of DDR400 DIMMs means we've done our testing with DDR333. When it comes to available memory bandwidth, the results are split according to the memory bus speed. The IT7 MAX is running DDR266, while the IT7 MAX2 V2.0 and SY-P4X400 DRAGON Ultra are at DDR333.

Business performance

In the Business Winstone test, the SY-P4X400 DRAGON Ultra is upstaged by the Intel-based competition. It's a disappointing result for the board, especially since it's being beaten by the IT7, a DDR266 platform.

In Content Creation Winstone, the SY-P4X400 DRAGON Ultra is at the back of the pack again. Even AMD fanboys can't deny that Intel knows its way around chipsets.
