Extras galore
Although the LANParty 925X-T2 and UT 915P-T12 have been very similar thus far, their bundles are a world apart.

Both LANParty boards come with rounded IDE and floppy cables, two Serial ATA data and power cables, and an ATA-to-SATA adapter that allows a "parallel" ATA hard drive to be connected to one of the board's SATA ports. Given the fact that the ICH6R only has a single ATA/100 channel, the ATA adapter is a potentially handy accessory.

And that's where the 915P-T12's bundle ends. That's much less than what DFI has bundled with previous LANParty boards, but don't fret. We're not finished with the 925X-T2's bundle yet.

With the 925X-T2, DFI also throws in a wire sleeving kit loaded with fluorescent zip ties, plus heat-shrink tubing and sleeving in two diameters. The sleeving kit is perfect for cleaning up a case's internal cabling to improve air flow and appearances.

The 925X-T2 also comes with a modular 5.25" drive bay port extender from FrontX. DFI includes front-panel connectors for the board's four diagnostic LEDs, one Serial ATA port, one Firewire port, and a TOS-Link digital S/PDIF audio output. Curiously, there are no front-panel USB ports included with the package, although additional connectors can be purchased from FrontX.

The FrontX insert's port cluster can easily be hidden away behind a hinged door. This arrangement not only keeps ports covered up when they're not in use, it also makes painting the insert to match different case colors easier, since one really only needs to paint the removable bay door.

LAN parties usually involve dragging your PC from one location to another, so it's only fitting that the 925X-T2 comes with a case carrying harness complete with a handle, strap, and pockets that can easily hold a keyboard, mouse, and other accessories. The harness is pretty rugged, so you don't need to worry about it dropping your beloved system.

A LANParty sticker, case badge, heat sink paste, and color-coded port shield sticker round out the 925X-T2's bundle. These little extras aren't that impressive on their own, but they're a nice finishing touch for an already generous assortment of goodies.
