Overclocking
There isn't much overclocking in the workstation world, but that didn't stop us from turning up the clocks on our NFPIK8AA. In testing, we were able to get the board stable with a 220MHz HT link speed, which nets us an extra 200MHz of processing power. The board would post with a 225MHz HT link speed, but wasn't stable, possibly because our server-grade registered DIMMs aren't meant for overclocking. There's no guarantee that our Opteron 246 2.0GHz processor will be stable on any board at above 2.2GHz, either.

Our modest overclock is good for decent performance boosts in Sphinx and Unreal Tournament 2004, but we wouldn't suggest Opterons or registered DIMMs if you're serious about overclocking.
