Boot and load times
To test system boot and game level load times, we busted out our trusty stopwatch.

The Caviar RE2 sticks to the middle of the pack in our system boot time test, although it's only a couple of seconds slower than the fastest booting 7,200-RPM drive.

Not much changes as we move to our level load tests, where the Caviar RE2 seems comfortable in the middle of the field. This time, though, it's less than a second slower than its fastest 7,200-RPM competition.
