Putting the finishing touches on the blog code today. Also shopping at newegg. Company of Heroes is a little more than my current box can handle, and I'm ||<-- this close to pulling the trigger on a C2D 6600 with 2GB of RAM. I'm a little disappointed DDR2 is still so expensive, I would've like to go with 4GB, but I'll have two spare slots and can always drop another 2GB in later.Blog test take 2
I've been doing some more coding on the blog functionalty. This post shouldn't show up on the RSS feeds like the last one did.blog functionality
In the short term a feature Scott's been asking for is staff blogs. Although the code fro the site may be sagging in places, the foundation is very solid. The engine that drives dynamic news content was very easy to extend to provide a basic blog facility for TR staff.
So here it is, I've hacked this together on a devlopment server and it seems to work. Here's hoping it's OK in prod... as long as this post doesn't show up on the front page I guess I'm in good shape.
