Nvidia has released a suite of tools that allows us to precisely monitor a graphics card's output to the display, providing new insight on the stuttering that can interrupt smooth gameplay. We've used this FCAT suite along with our usual latency-focused metrics to see what monitoring the final stage in the graphics pipeline can tell us about GPU performance in single- and multi-card configs.
