Core 2 Duos with faster FSBs coming next year
Going by the listed specifications, the Core 2 Duo E6800 will be a rebadged Core 2 Extreme X6800. The Core 2 Duo E6650 will trade 66MHz for a faster FSB than the current E6600, while the upcoming E6750 will have the same clock speed as the E6700, but enjoy a faster front-side bus.
Intel is prepping some spiffed-up Core 2 Duos with 1333MHz front-side bus speeds for next year, according to a report by DailyTech. The report says the chips will complement a line of Intel "Bearlake" chipsets, which previous rumors suggest will come out during the second and third quarters of next year. Accompanying "refreshed" Core 2 Duos are said to include the following models:
|

Speed | Cache | FSB |
| Core 2 Duo E6850 | 3.00GHz | 4MB | 1333MHz |
| Core 2 Duo E6800 | 2.93GHz | 4MB | 1066MHz |
