Graphics card maker GeCube has unveiled a new graphics card that's essentially a pair of Radeon HD 2600 XTs sharing a single circuit board. The HD2600XT X2 Gemini 3 features two RV630 graphics processors, each running at 800MHz and outfitted with 512MB of 500MHz GDDR2 memory. Both GPUs drive a set of two DVI ports and offer the same goodies as the regular Radeon HD 2600 XT, including HDMI audio/video output and AMD's Universal Video Decoder video processing hardware.

CrossFire performance aside, GeCube says the HD2600XT Gemini 3 has a few extra perks. It has an "Auto Pilot Safe Protection" feature that allows one of the graphics processors to continue running even if the other stops, and the company claims the card is capable of driving as many as four displays.
The HD2600XT X2 Gemini 3 is launching at $279. If that's a little pricey for you, GeCube also offers a cheaper Gemini 3 model that's priced at $259 and only comes with 512MB of total memory (256MB per GPU).
