Antec launches 650W NeoPower power supplies

In our power supply roundup earlier this month, we selected Antec's 550W NeoHE power supply for a TR Recommended award. The company has now launched two new additions to its NeoPower lineup.

The new PSUs are the NeoPower 650 and NeoPower 650 Blue, and as their names indicate, they're both rated for 650W of power output. The former is cooled by a single 80mm fan, while the latter has a bottom-mounted 120mm fan that's also outfitted with a blue LED. Cooling differences aside, the two units feature 85% efficiency ratings, active power factor correction, triple +12V output circuits, and modular cabling.

Antec says it's pricing the NeoPower 650 and NeoPower 650 Blue in the $169.95-179.95 range. Both units are already available through major retailers and e-tailers, the company says, and they're both covered by a five-year warranty.
