Our annual Christmas giveaway and fund-raiser, Tech Share 2007, was a huge success this year. We had over 1,900 giveaway entrants, and we've raised a grand total of $7,719.28 to provide computers for a primary school in Uganda. We were in danger of not meeting our secondary goal of $7500 late in the day today, when a generous $500 donation from a single individual put us over the top. Thanks to all of you who donated and to our sponsors, including Intel, Gigabyte, Corsair, XFX, Shuttle, Western Digital, PC Power & Cooling, Cooler Master, OCZ, and A-Data. They chipped in over $5,000 worth of loot for us to give away.
Speaking of which, it's time for us to announce the winners of our three excellent prize packages, so those folks can have a great start to 2008. The winner of our $3,000-plus grand prize package is Matthew Feiser of Plano, Texas. Matthew will be receiving the parts necessary to build a PC anchored by an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 and an XFX GeForce 8800 GTX.

Our second-prize winner is Jeremy Erb of Omaha, Nebraska, who will be receiving the parts for a rabid, killer toaster.

And our third-prize winner is Jose Angel Cota Perez of Tampico, Mexico. He'll be receiving the core components of a very nice dual-core system.

Winners, please check your email and respond to us so we can arrange delivery of your prizes. And Matthew, bud, you're gonna have to enter Gigabyte's overclocking contest once you get that rig going.
Everyone else, thanks very much for your participation. We will leave Tech Share donations open for at least a few more days, if you'd still like to contribute.
