Remember Creative's Zii? No? Well, we don't blame you; we haven't heard much about the system-on-a-chip since its launch six months ago. However, a blogger at epiZENter.net has uncovered FCC documents that suggest Creative is cooking up a handheld media player with the same name as the SoC.
The FCC documents describe an "MP4 player with touch screen." They also include testing results for Bluetooth and 802.11g Wi-Fi modules, not to mention the following diagrams:

The images hint that Creative will release a Zii Egg for developers and a plain Zii for consumers, and that both devices will feature HD cameras and a form factor much like that of the iPhone and iPod touch. As epiZENter.net points out, the presence of a developer edition suggests Creative might encourage third parties to write software for the device.
