Anyhow, Dr. Evil is back with another of his excellent optical drive reviews, debunking those crazy CD drive speed ratings and testing to see how these things really perform, in every which way: reading, writing, extracting digital audio, handling scratched disks. And damn if he didn't benchmark the drive tray eject times, just to make other reviewers (like me) feel inadequate. For a potential CD burner buyer, though, it's a bonanza.
