Let's start this week's post with a few game pre-order deals. We're all excited about some of the releases coming this year, and Amazon is running a sale on a selection of 'em. You can pre-order digital downloads of Mass Effect 3 for $53.99, Syndicate for $53.99, and The Darkness II for $42.49, among others.

On the hardware side of things, Newegg currently lets you take 15% off all Corsair power supplies using the promo code "CorsairPSUJan12." For example, you can get the 80 Plus Bronze-rated HX650 for $93.49 with free shipping once you enter the code on the checkout page—and there's a $20 mail-in rebate up for grabs on top of that.

If power supplies aren't up your alley, how about a memory upgrade for your laptop? Newegg sells an 8GB kit of Patriot DDR3-1333 SO-DIMMs for a scant $33.99 with free shipping.

Up here in the great white north, NCIX has a New Year's Bash sale event in progress. Notable deals include Kingston's SSDNow V200 64GB solid-state drive, which you can get for $84.99 CAD, and OCZ's Agility 3 120GB SSD, which is available for $129.99 CAD after a $30 mail-in rebate.
