Now that we've all spent a week drooling over AMD's new SMP systems, we're going to take a step back and see what Intel has to offer on the dually front. More specifically, we have Abit's VP6 motherboard in for a full workout. This is a mid-range PIII board, so it's not as sexy as the Tyan 760MP offering that's been parading around the web. However, the board is pretty cheap, readily available from just about anywhere, and should give us a few hints at what Via and Abit could have in store for us with future SMP boards.
