Tyan bails on dual-DVI Tachyon G9600 Pro

It is with much sadness that I report that Tyan's dual-DVI Tachyon G9600 Pro has been cancelled. TR reader Paul Green noticed that the dual-DVI version of the card had disappeared from Tyan's web site, and after checking our Tyan contact, it seems that the card has been cancelled due to "market factors."

Personally, I was quite excited about the prospect of a dual-DVI Radeon, so I'm especially disappointed to see Tyan bail on the product. Hopefully, the move doesn't sour other graphics card manufactuers on dual DVI output ports.
