MSI demos MXM in SLI
CES — MSI is showing off a unique take on SLI that combines two MXM mobile graphics modules on a single PCI Express x16 card. It's just a prototype, but depending on interest, it could eventually make its way to market. 
The use of mobile graphics modules should allow the card to achieve lower power consumption than other SLI implementations. Users may also be able to upgrade the MXM modules without having to purchase a new card.
