Foxconn to enter graphics card market
by Cyril Kowaliski — 2:17 AM on March 14, 2006

Foxconn has launched its first own-brand graphics card at CeBit. The company isn't messing around, either; its first card is based on NVIDIA's 7900 GTX GPU. Taiwan-based Foxconn already makes a wide variety of products, including motherboards, but this is the company's first foray into the graphics card market. While Foxconn's first card is a GeForce, the company stated that it will also be partnering with ATI in the future. Foxconn hopes to begin shipping its own-brand graphics cards within the first half of this year, although there's no mention of pricing, bundles, or factory overclocking.
