'Windows XP on an Intel Mac' contest won
Following yesterday's video that depicted XP running on an Intel iMac, it looks like the perpetrators—known as narf2006 and blanka—have won the "Windows XP on an Intel Mac" contest. The winners will pocket a $13,854 check for their work, and any further donations to the contest will go towards financing an open-source project based on the solution. According to MacRumors, a post on the contest forums claims the solution will be posted soon, and that it will include a downloadable boot loader compatible with all current Intel Macs. The contest began less than two months ago, shortly after the release of the first Core Duo-based iMac.
