I guess that makes the combined dymt's Ceiling Gerbil or some other catchy internet fad phrase right?

Pfffffffffffft...just another post whore at work seems more like it

No, you just have to hang around a while...like, most of the decade. Prime has only been averaging about 2.5 per day, which is hardly "every free minute" (unless those are very long, time-consuming posts). Even Fox is only averaging about 10 posts per day, and given that he's a mod, at least a couple of those every day are probably of the "moved to X forum" variety.

Well another year, another few posts and another year older...sadly I missed posting on my birthday, but I still made it here.

Plus I am sure everyone that remembers me has been wondering where I have disappeared to...WOW has eaten up most of my spare time.

And also if anyone wants to know yes I still have a huge collection of vintage computer gear, and yes I keep adding to it. I probably will open up a museum some day ...maybe make some money off all this stuff I have collected.

Happy 10th anniversary TR, it was a blast being here for most of your your 10 years.

Well, another year goes by...how the time has flown this year. Another birthday in the can, and another year older...and maybe wiser...or not. Managed to get a few more posts in this year, and spent a reasonable time on the site this year as opposed to the last one. I am just hoping I find a new job this by the new year...sucks being out of work. Thanks for putting up with me all these years, its been a blast.

Well, another year in the can and another Bday. Took a lot longer to get a job again than I though it would take, but fortunately I am working again after a year and a half of being out of work. It was very frustrating looking for a job, online apps take a long (sometimes up to 2 hours each) to fill out and it sucks not to hear a single thing after spending all that time jumping through the hoops and answering the "no I am not crazy questions". Now I am thankful to have a job, although it is not what I was making before, but as I put it, my unemployment benefits had run out 6 months ago and something is better than nothing. Although I had been a saving packrat while unemployed it was close to exhausting my savings and things would have been very bleak indeed.

Although this year started out bad for me, at least I have a job and I am making money again. It is also nice getting out of the house again and interacting with people again, something I missed a lot during my time of unemployment. I am just glad that I got back to work, but I do feel bad for all the other people out there and hope they can get back to work like me. My motto is just keep pressing on and never give up looking for a job, the one I got had been one I applied at 3 months previously and had given up any hope of getting when I got a call out of the blue. I turned out the person they had hired back then for the position failed miserably and was let go, and I was the next one on the list.

I am thankful this year to go into the holidays with a job and have hopes of moving up eventually in my company, so my prospects are good and I have a lot to look forward to. I hope that anyone that reads this and is still unemployed reads this and doesn't give up and keeps going remembers, life is only as bad as you make it.
