It is possible
Haikus can be different
They do need three lines

But not 5-7-5
See dictionary.com
Definition 2

Yet I will conform
With the normal haiku form
Do not kick my ass

In this Haiku thread
For the sake of argument
Please stick to the rules

Exceptions are made
Entirely too often
For non-conformists

Your understanding
Of this trivial request
Makes me quite happy!

But I am not dead

If you know a girl
Who likes men with three children
Give her my number

I do understand
I am hypocritical

I'm just saying Haiku are the easiest poems to write...just follow the syllable counts.

They are difficult to write with meaning. Anyone can throw words together.
Mine are crap as well.
