Lady Gaga - Edge of Glory

The last few days I've listened to lots of surf music, opera, baroque, classic rock and trip hop. I've also been listening to Jody Highroller, MOON and La Orange.

Pure Reason Revolution - "Deus Ex Machina"

This group makes me so mad; I LOVE this song, and nothing else by them. This is their only song that's heavy like this. LAME!

Kind Regards. The three CD follow up to the five CD Best Regards set. Now I have eight Buckethead, Brain and Melissa CDs in heavy rotation in my Lincoln's 10 CD changer.

Very much recommended, wonderful stuff.

That's where Martin Sheen slices himself with the broken mirror and the camera keeps rolling.

Hearts of Darkness is the movie Coppola really wanted to make.

It's the song "The End" by The Doors. The movie scene I'm referring to is the opening scene of "Apocalypse Now", where the song plays as Martin Sheen's character destroys a hotel room in Saigon. During the filming of the scene Sheen cut himself quite badly on a broken mirror, yet Coppola kept the cameras running. That's not stage blood in the final print of the movie.

Someone recommend me a good "greatest hits" Doors album. I keep seeing gripes about how a given album was remastered, or how its sound was mixed or what speed "Light My Fire" was recorded at.

This is the one I have. Could care less about how some people complain about small things.

Actually we both have it wrong.

A Doors best-of album. Not the one Ned linked to but a similar one that's offered as an MP3 download.

I've been in a silly, girly, bouncy mood the last few days, so I've had Caramelldansen on repeat the whole time. It drives my girlfriend wild! Or is it 'crazy' ... '`,、('∀`) '`,、

Nujabes composed the music for Samurai Champloo. The first song on that album is the opening I think. It's been a loooong time since I watched Samurai Champloo. Too bad he died last year. Cancer I think.

I'm listening to Seba & Paradox's Last Goodbye from Beats Me. Seba from Sweden makes some of the best drum and bass around. I especially love it when Pressure Point turns up in a mix...

Listening/watching. Weird Al doing a parody of Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues, complete with the cards. It wasn't until halfway through that I realized that each card was a palindrome.

Say what you want about Weird Al, but stupid simply doesn't work.
