Recently The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie have never been far away from WMP.

Right now, Jimmy Eat World's Futures with Bleed American lined up...

Yeah! I've been hearing a few things from Mike and the boys on my sat radio. Fort Minor does sound pretty good. I am curious as to what the next L.P. album will sound like when he gets back with Chester and the rest of the crew.

"They walked in line" by Joy Division. Sheer bleak excellence.

Smoke on the Water was written by Deep Purple (it's based on events that happened to DP, too). Unless you're listening to a cover, it ain't Zeplin.

He headlined at the Naperville Ribfest last summer. He's a total whack job. But an entertaining one! :D

Ok, now it's "the pillows - Little Busters - Patricia"

Yes, the band name is lower case intentionally.

The whine of a military surplus 400Hz power converter from the hardware lab. Guess it's time to put on the headphones to drown out the din.

My playlist currently consists of a mix of '70s/'80s rock and (mostly) newer jazz/rock fusion. First four tracks up: Led Zeppelin - In The Evening; Scott McGill - Industrial Blowout; Blue Oyster Cult - Lips In The Hills; Gongzilla - Hip-Hopnosis.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

David Gilmour - On an Island

The album is not out yet, but I heard the song on the way in to work today.

The whole time I was like "I don't remember this Pink Floyd song".

I'm currently listening to my ears ringing courtesy of the In Flames concert that I just got back from. Zao, Devildriver, and Trivium were the opening acts. Easily one of the best Valentine's Day gifts that I've been given.

They played one hell of a show. Opened up with "Pinball Map", "Leeches", "System", and "Trigger". Can't remember the order of songs after that but I know that they played "Behind Space", "Only for the Weak", "Colony", "Insipid 2000", "Take This Life", "Leeches", "Vacuum", "Crawl Through Knives", "Moonshield", "Episode 666", "Drifter", "Cloud Connected", "The Quiet Place", and "Dial 595-Escape". There might be a song or two that I can't remember, but they played a lengthy set (obviously). Then they closed with "My Sweet Shadow"....not too sure if they played an encore because the wife and I left to beat the traffic.
