Looks interesting, but I don't feel like reading that novel of a bio they have. What kind of music is this?

I'm embarrassed I'm listening to <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00064AEJW/">Gwen Stefani's solo album</a>. It's totally 80's. I love it.

Trent Reznor went back to the 80's for his latest as well. New stuff from Depeche Mode too.

Anyone know anything else out in an 80's style?

Ordered one of those a few years ago and it came with several keys that just didn't work. Unicomp took it back and refunded my money, but I won't be getting one of those again. Am happy with an old Wang keyboard or the 1989-91 era Dell keyboards.

Mine's been trouble-free. Given that the alternative was the insanely expensive CVT Avant Prime, I'm a happy camper. :D

(Sorry for the thread hijack...)

Thanks. Heard Fischerspooner but they're a little too weird for me. Was looking more for artists who've suddenly taken a turn in the 80's direction.

Now listening to: the itunes free single of the week - <a href="http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=83498441&s=143441">black mercedes by one block radius</a>. Actually pretty good!

Aphex Twin: "Rhubarb" from the album Selected Ambient Works, Vol. 2.

Dizik, Rhubarb has to be the most depressing song I know of...but I LOVE IT.

What would you call it? What is it to you?

...PS, APHEX TWIN RULES.

Aphex Twin does indeed rule. I usually play his ambient stuff when I wanna chill and relax. When I feel like being scared sh*tless, I'll listen to stuff like "Come to Daddy". If I'm in a regular mood, then I play Drukqs or the Richard D James Album.

So what else do the Aphex Twin fans listen to?

Squarepusher? Autechre? Orbital? The Orb?
