It may depend on how you feel about unsweetened beverages in general. If you miss the carbonation, but don't mind the lack of sweetness, yeah it's a logical replacement.

Surprisingly good (my expectations for this were not high). Roasty and bittersweet, with a subtle heat that isn't apparent on the first sip, but which gradually becomes apparent over the next minute or so.
