I Am A: Chaotic Good Elf Ranger Bard

Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.

I don't know about that intelligence - a MSc and an IQ of 140 -> Int: 12 ????

Looks like I'm destined to be inferior to Anapex in all areas of my life

Bruce: No clue how I got a 13, I left my IQ at 0 since I couldn't remember the last time I actually took the test and selected the undergraduate/apprenticeship option. So technically you should have the 13 and I should have the 12.

Well took an online test and my IQ came out as 140 also. Using that here are my modified stats...

Str: 11
Int: 11
Wis: 16
Dex: 12
Con: 9
Chr: 10

Ok well strange, I only changed the IQ entry from 0 to 140 and two scores got worse. Int went from 13 to 11 (explain that one) and my charisma dropped by 1. I can maybe understand the charisma thing (high iq=horrible social skills? ) but why the int drop?

Yeah, weird eh?

Bearing in mind that an IQ of 140 is something like 85th or 90th percentile this should correspond to an Int: of ~15....

and now for the stats:

Int: 11

A little lower in Int than I would have liked for a magic user, but then I suppose thats why its my secondary class. And a str of 9? Not exactly fighter caliber there...

It all seem rather befitting. Albeit I do think it strange that the amount of formal education you have received impacts the Intelligence score more than your determined IQ.

My stats suggest I would be a better Rogue than a Elf Ranger Mage.

Is it me or is there an abnormal number of bards being generated? 4 out of 8 so far have bard as either a primary or secondary class. I mean from my experience a bard was a rare thing for anyone to play.

They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently conccern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.

Primary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.

Secondary Class:
Thieves are the most roguish of the classes. They are sneaky and nimble-fingered, and have skills with traps and locks. While not all use these skills for burglary, that is a common occupation of this class.

Huh. Bards are my least favorite class; thieves aren't quite as bad, but they're close.

I usually (ignoring my first-ever AD&D character) play human mages; my last character was described by the guy running the campaign as the Incredibly Average Mage, mostly because of his stats: Str 11, Dex 15, Con 14, Int 18, Wis 15, and Cha 14, all of which were rolled in the DM's presence...which is what prompted the description.

His most notable impact on the campaign was the use of a quarterstaff to poke things. We'd come into a room, and the DM would say something like, "The room is entirely bare but for a column in the center with a glowing orb upon it. Every surface seems to consist of polished marble, with no exit in sight."

My character's response? Poke the orb with his quarterstaff.

The sad thing is that he 'solved' almost every puzzle/trap/etc. that way.

Bet you went through a lot of staves, though.

I was always the lawful evil Thri-Kreen who just somehow ended up in the appropriate game universe. The DM was just too fond of my unpredictable T-K.

I Am A: Neutral Good Elf Cleric Bard

Alignment:
Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.

I Am A: Lawful Good Elf Ranger Paladin

Alignment:
Lawful Good characters are the epitome of all that is just and good. They believe in order and governments that work for the benefit of all, and generally do not mind doing direct work to further their beliefs.
