I just made scrambled eggs with:

2 eggs
chopped red onion
sweet (hot) pepper
basil
oregano
black pepper
milk
infused olive oil
butter
cheddar
mozzarella

toasted an English muffin to eat it on. Mmm, how delicious!

Oh yeah, and I'm drinking chocolate milk :D

raw red onions

I had some left over from my eggs before, so I stuffed 'em in a bag in the fridge. Now I want a snack, and the onions are the only thing around.

Anyone who talks to me in the next 24 hours will know this as well.

Some labne and matzah. If you haven't tried it, labne (also spelled lebni) is a delicious Mediterranean cheese that's a little bit thicker than sour cream with a bit less sour bite (though definitely some sourness to it).

lots of fruit. Bananas, oranges, grapes, berries...easy to stay full and keep calories reasonable. but they're not cheap.

Add apples to your list. The fiber really regulates how hungry you feel. Oranges and apples are great for your body. Berries are a little too expensive for regular eating I think.

I just finished 3 eggs (over easy) and coffee.

yeah but A: I don't like apples much and B: I'm allergic to them.

Pears and plums though *nom nom nom* I've taken to buying strawberries when they are cheap and cutting them up and freezing them.

Too bad. I love apples.

In that case (since I know you're trying to lose weight) try raspberries and pears. Strawberries are great too. Sometimes we have them on sale for ~$2/lb and I always stock up and freeze some.

++ I've been eating a ton of apples lately and it's really staved off the hunger pangs. One at breakfast with my cereal, one at lunch with my sammich and Sun Chips.

Strawberries around here have been right around $2/pint (not sure if that's $2/lb or not, never paid attention to the weights) and we've been getting plenty of them, too. It's like in the last 60 days I've rediscovered fresh fruit.

its the best part of spring; strawberries in season. We had 2 lb packages on sale for 2.50 this week so I stocked up and chopped and froze the extras. I'm thinking of making frozen shaved ice/strawberry cups for frozen cold snacks come summer (on a 105 degree day after a hike, OMG all you want is more water and a cold snack).

A pepperoni grinder from the local Greek pizza place out here on the road. A roll, some sauce, lots of pepperoni, and mozzarella and put it in the oven until gooey. I can only do one/week due to the heartburn issues.

Home-made breakfast skillet...for dinner. Six eggs scrambled, half pound of uncured applewood-smoked bacon, a red bell pepper, 4 ounces of of sliced mushrooms, a small amount of shredded cheese, a sprinkling of Mrs. Dash's Garlic & Herbs blend, and fresh-ground peppercorns. Process: partially pre-cook the bacon and chop, then chop and fry the bell pepper and mushrooms in some of the bacon grease, then partially cook the eggs, then mix everything and finish.

Ate about half of it after coming back from the gym and will stash the other half for tomorrow's lunch. Mmmmmm....bacon.

Same reason you need to add the croutons to Caesar salad right before serving, otherwise the croutons get all soggy.

Wow haven't posted in here in a bit.. I'm cheating because I'm not eating it right now but...

The wife made home made Crab Cakes with fresh spiced Collard Greens and Kale...... I cannot begin to describe the deliciousness that was that meal. Oh and she made that slightly spicy sauce that goes along with Crab Cakes.
I also don't know how to explain the flavor of the greens, but it made that meal and I ended up eating my weight in greens that night.

Bacon, Eggs (Scrambled), Pancakes with some coffee.... The American breakfast cooked by your truly. The wife has been blown away that I've been the one cooking lately for breakfast. I mean it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm waking up at 9PM and going to sleep around noon :o ....

I just finished off some leftover Indian food that I had from Saturday night. Lamb rogan josh, aloo paratha, and some basmati rice. Friggin' delish.

A bit of Creminelli's dried coppa and Cowgirl Creamery's Devil's Gulch cheese.

Sipping some chilled JD Tennessee Honey now for dessert (say what you will, I like it).
