Well, that depends on your idea of perfect EQ. Do you want a flat frequency response with excellent soundstaging and imaging? Sorry, can't get that with MP3. OTOH, if you push up the left-most 3 sliders, I'm sure you can make your computer case rattle and buzz like a ricer's clapped-out Civic.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.
