Actually, I'm not a fan of wrestling. I like the Roman wrestling and was pretty good at it. But don't get me wrong. Thinking about getting back in shape is a lot harder to do than done. I'm in the process of doing it. Solo. And it is hard, so you think there is a Boot Camp kinda thing here in Indiana?

Anyway, this is cool and something I was surprised to see in TR! ;-) Keep the people in shape.

Yea, will do! Well, I would pay the extra if I knew they had the people the drive you. My biggest problem is motivation, I just don't like to do things alone, it is boring. I know it is not an excuse.

You went from being flat on your face to throwing the punches awfully fast. Super healing mutant power!

Of course. It's in the script.

Still looks painful to me. When you got dropped on your back in the beginning against the Irish dude I was feeling it. Scripted or not, I couldn't do what you do and look good doing it. Then again, I'm 5' 9" and like 180 pounds, so I'm ill-equipped.

Have you ever just let a move get away from you and really hurt somebody bad during a match? Or had it done to you? How do you guys handle something like that if it happens?

Yeah it's the compression they use in their editing program. The video quality for WXW events need to be significantly improved upon. They are using an old editing suite on a Win 98 computer and it needs to be upgraded. :)
Offhand, it looks like really bad deinterlacing. Just better deinterlacing could go a long way, although new stuff in general is going to be a lot better.

Glad to see WXW is going well.

Where you coming from? :D

Pennsylvania.

Also, there are lots of nice free video editing/compression programs out there. Even if you edit in something horrible, and then post-process and clean a little before compressing, you'll find things compress better and look better at the same time.

Dwayne Johnson is someone who, if given the chance, I would love to just sit & talk with. He seems like a very intelligent person.

Happy New Year! First show of the year is this Saturday 1/9/10! I will take on one of our students, TNT Motley. Sarona Snuka (Jimmy Snuka's daughter) just got a WWE Contract, so that's certainly exciting!

Oh, and I am changing my entrance music! I will be using the main theme from the game "Castle Crashers". Currently the number one rated game on the Xbox Live Arcade! Here is a link to the song, the soundtrack is available for free online! Thoughts?

Hm. My 1st thought was "too slow." But on a 2nd listen, I can see it being effective considering you're a heel.

Wrestling has come a long way: Back in my poor ex-student post-college days in Raleigh NC, WRAL Television 5 used to film wrestling every Wednesday evening at 6:30pm. They PAID students from the local colleges and universities $5 each to be in the audience during taping (a 22-minute segment took about an hour to tape). The "dressing room," used by Ric Flair, Chief Wahoo McDaniel, and others, was a section of the studio cordoned off by blankets hung from scaffolding. I got paid $25 to shoot publicity stills (which barely covered the cost of film & processing). Afterward, we'd often go over to the NCSU campus and party for a while, eventually winding up at the local IHOP on Hillsborough Street about 1 in the morning.

I remember once shooting Ricky Steamboat "arriving" for a "match" in a '50's Rolls Royce belonging to NCSU assistant basketball coach Eddie Biedenbach and "chauffeured" by a waitress from the IHOP. Fond memories.

Within about a year, the spiffs for attendance stopped and filming moved to one of the local coliseums, complete with major publicity and high ticket prices. That's capitalism for you.

16 years and no life-changing injuries? Consider yourself lucky that you had the smarts to retire before you inevitably found one.

So, it's all up to The Mouse now, eh?

It was fun getting to know a bit about you and track your career in this thread. I must say, my default mental image of people on the Internet was forever erased when I learned what your name meant and what you actually did, so thanks for the entertainment and for breaking a stereotype! What's your next dream?

Great job all these years on TR. I was one of the ones who checked in, clicked the links and basically enjoyed the hell out of the stuff you shared. Thank you very much everything.

Say what you want about wrestling, but it is great fun and great entertainment, and some of the best dialog ever written.

It it never gets old. I was tuning in to watch a comedy special with comedian Maz Jobrani, from the "Axis of Evil" tour, and I run into wrestling.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDohqhE7rI8

Also, almost everday I use a wrestling line; today it was Hulk Hogan's brother.

My kids watch the phineas and ferb cartoon, and even they used the line Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages..

Thanks again PerfectCr.
