I'm not sure why. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. I haven't played anything or won't for awhile that takes advantage of these drivers and DX9. Heck I think It's probably pointless with my GForce 4 TI4400, I don't think it supports dx9. I think you need an FX card or better. I don't know. Anybody? Thief II is the only game I've played and it had no problems, then again this game is what 2 years old.

NV 43.45, DX9 and WinXP pro - stabile no problems at all.

I'm using the 41.09s too, but they totally mess up my DVD viewing. Darn things turn the TV-Out on with my Geforce 3 Ti200. Too bad the vast majority of DVDs see this as a copy protection violation and refuse to play. :x

I've updated from 29.42 to 30.82 to 41.09 and I'm still not noticing any differences, but then I didn't benchmark anything either.

The only performance hit I got was when I didn't remove the 30.82 drivers before installing 41.09. I think I got performance hell for a month or two wondering why some titles weren't running at what they were supposed to on my Ti 4200. Finally got that fixed.

Well, will stick to my 41.09, unless nVidia releases something that 'magically' increases the performance of my card.
