Very excited! WOOT!!! :D Ill just reiterate what everyone else says you wont regret the trip no matter how far you travel for it. The location is perfect the atmosphere is awesome, and the ribs alone are worth driving at least 5000 miles for  .

...Alternatively, Fish will have to convince Z-man to provide the recipe, and those of us that can cook would be able to make a reasonable approximation of the ribs.

lol, I can confirm it was Shoes. :)

z-man, serious question, between the grilling setup featured in the first post and the normal pig roaster what is your preference? I want to book one of them this week...

Also, can I get a preliminary showing of hands attendee wise? :)

If the chunk charcoal has a smoker in it then we can give it a whirl this year. Remember once they have a mild sear on them they get moved away from direct heat.

If not the roaster is fine.

Ohio gerbils: anyone interested in a carpool? We're starting in Cincinnati so pretty much anywhere in the state is somewhat "on the way"

We'll were approaching a month to go so I'm going to try to kick this thread into a higher gear. I added the list of possible attendees to the first post, adjusted for historical likelihood in addition to what has been posted in this thread so far. Please give a shout out and let me know if I'm close, also might as well add what you can bring food wise. :)

Also there's been some talk about the swap meet side of things... Someone else is welcome to start a thread in the BB but I'm just going to post here. I have about 20 36GB Raptors (BYORAID, sorry), maybe 5 250GB WD RE SATA HDs, half a dozen 250GB+ 7200rpm laptop hard drives, a 30GB and 128GB J-Micro SSD (disclaimer, I retired them for Indilinx based drives for a reason), a couple of barely used large-ish Wacom Intuos Tablets, my old pair of 8800GTXs and some other misc. crap.

Edit: Can someone let Gleek know the plan???

I'll repeat again that camping is welcome. Yard or beach is all good. Night before and night after are options... Just get with me first.

For the cook we might be able to wrangle up a room inside. My girlfriend's family will be there Friday night but there will be a bedroom open (the one right next to the kitchen actually, heh).
