Ill be bringing the baked beans ofc .

The chance of my brother and I attending are now closer to 90% or so.

I'll know for sure in another day or so.

Did we ever start a official hardware thread? I have a ton of stuff, including high end items like a 21" LCD, and a 17" Laptop; stuff I dont really want to ship, but would sell or trade in person. If I sell it, I would give my usually much better TR BBQ price.

Is there enough people bringing hardware to warrant a thread in the BB?

I think we can wave the price rules for this thread, since it would be a in person only deal, and not a general for sale thread.
People can post items they would be willing to bring if someone is interested in them.

Ill be bringing a nice bounty of items probably a 22" lcd some paradigm main home theater speakers and a paradigm mid. Ill scrounge around and see what else I have lying around to bring as well probably some random hardware and such. Looking forward to it .

Of course I'll have the ribs, burgers, skinless hotdogs, buns and cheese. The rest is up to everyone else. So if you want tomato or onion well BRING IT.

However I will not have room for my bean bag set. Sorry.

One last thing, I am cooking on an unknown piece of equipment so this year I make no promises. I will just do the best I can.

I am 50-50. I'm betting that the family is out.

Those monitors intrigue me, if the price is right.

uh why hello there. i think i will bring a unopend Vertex Sata 2.5 Solid State Drive for sell or trade whatever it really doesnt matter....

Of course for food i really dont know yet....maybe a bunch of golden potatoes for colton's mom to make into something amazing.

Alright, PM with address, etc sent. At this point I think we can keep hardware swap lists in this thread since we're only a few days from the event. My list is on the previous page. I'm looking to sell and trade but not buy (I'd like to sell enough to cover some of the extra costs of the BBQ this year, buying will not help please don't tempt me).

So I asked off for Saturday to go on a road trip. That part happened. Then they scheduled me 4pm-1am on Friday, and 9am-12am Sunday.

Tough it out.
My brother is working Fri nite 11PM to Sat morn 7AM, then we are driving over. U could sleep 4-6 hours then come for 4 hours then head back home

We will bring at least a couple bags of chips at this point. When the time gets closer we might be able to get a couple more things if needed...

Looks like the wifey no longer wants me to sell the PSP collection at this point.

Another thing beside the SSD's I'm interested in would be a motherboard/CPU combo - not new but still a dualcore - something that would run Windows 7 fine. Perhaps someone has an old system board they just upgraded to something new.

Only problem is I might not have cash to spend

Only reason I want to sell it is to get a 52" to 60" eventually; this one is too small for the it is in.

Looks like we need unglamorous things like plates, napkins etc as well as some raw veggies to round things out.

Fro_Bozz, if the PSP is out then I'm still interested in the iPod Touch, I think I can get you a dual core CPU/mobo from the skt 939 era if that would be good enough...? If we can't make a deal on the Touch I could go for the nano since I just did some searching and found out it can play Peggle.

Just so you know, my brother and I will be more then happy to chip in money for stuff; we just did not want to commit to bringing anything because we were up in the there till the last minute.
Fishy, we can pick up any incidentals once we get near and you start discovering what we need?
Ice, plates, bottles of water or soda, etc...I use usually call you once or twice when we get close to check in, so hopefully u or someone else can get a signal there.

Also, anyone interested in the hardware swap, hit the ATMs before hand so u can be ready to wheel and deal.
More then once I had to wait for certain un-named parties to make a ATM run.

Also, anyone interested in any of the larger items I mentioned, I am more then happy to do less cash and smaller items for my stuff if u have things I can use.

I will also be have some cash to buy outright if the price is right, and may even have some uses for those Raptors, Fish.

If they are cheap enough, I'll take them without any testing. I just like having spare boot drives around. These are too small for many things, but as spares in the closet I can live with them.

I'll pack up those drives and give a free one with every 3 bought or something, I know there are at least a couple in that pile that are dead. Of course they have 5 year warranties so you can probably RMA any bad ones. WD's RMA process is the best.

I would think they are out of warranty by now.
I have a couple of 74GB out of warranty. Also, although I am interested in them, checking prices around makes me realize how much drives have come down.
By all means, have them around, but just being up front about what I am willing to pay or trade for them.

We're going to need to recruit at least 1 more person for the BBQ fantasy football league.

At this point, I'm bringing a 36 pack of little bags of various chips, 3 tomatoes, and 2 onions.
