As the title suggests, list your favorite candy... You know that candy that when your in line at the grocery store and you see them 4 for $2.00 you take the entire box like they aren't going to make them anymore!

Ive got a few of them, can't resist.
3 Musketeers
Trollii Sour Gummy Worms
Kit-Kats (I aint break you off any piece.. its allllllllll mine!)
Those Chocolate bars with the rice crispys in them... hell yeah.

Perfectly appropriate with Halloween and all you know... god I miss being a kid and getting all that free candy.

I hate chocolate, but I love my bulk barn visits for candy. Sour Keys, Green Thumbs, Hot Cinnamon Lips, Mint Leaves, and sour cola candy are the favs of mine.

I love chocolage-covered peanut clusters. Not peanut M&Ms, although those are OK, but the plain chocolate/nut combination is the best.

I also like haystacks, but that's less Halloween candy and more Christmas food concoction in my family.

My wife is taking our daughter trick-or-treating. She's 15 months old. She's not going to eat the candy. In proud tradition of the Funk family, her parents are.

Ahh, the candy of men.

My favorite candy would have to be dark chocolate malted milk balls (before you make a joke, ask yourself this: are you feeling lucky, punk?). There's a place downtown called The Fudge Factory that makes them every day. Heavenly.

My favorite candies are crazy German and Swiss chocolates that are like five thousand calories per bite. Needless to say, I don't eat much candy.

mmm chocolate covered steak... In all truth I have essentially made candied beef and while not a good dinner food certainly has its merits. That being said anything chocolate is good in my book. The darker and the greater in quantity the better. That being said twix and 3 musketeers are pretty excellent. For the short time they existed the Hershey smores bars were dangerous to get close to.

Bob's soft peppermint puffs
Red Bird soft peppermint puffs
Pez
Brach's (and ONLY Brach's) marshmallow easter eggs
Fresh Reese's peanut butter cups (there's nothing on earth worse than a stale one)

Favorite candies that aren't sold anymore:

Peanut Butter Twix (the real deal, not the crap they replaced it with)
Dweebs
Mars bar

Honorable mention goes to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pie- even though it wasn't candy, it was like the best thing ever.

This is a misconception, just like beer. The big commercial entities, of course, are going to make mediocre chocolate that appeals to a wide variety of people with unsophisticated palettes. However, there are a ton of really excellent smaller chololate makers. Here a just a couple of my favorite locals:

There was some talk a while ago of Europe wanting to ban British chocolate or at least have it labelled differently... Apparently you're not supposed to put vegetable fat it in.

And yet all most people in Europe ask you to bring over is chocolate :-?

In that vain, isn't a lot of the stuff you get in the States actually called "chocolate flavour candi" rather then actual chocolate?

I've only tried a couple of Hershey bars... sorry but they're OK but nothing I'd want to seek out.

I am however addicted to Haribo, cola bottles are the best and all the others are pretty good apart from the red ones which I have to pick out.
