Testing LiveStream right now if anyone wants to check it put.

Ugh, 1.5 hour wait at New Holland. We're waiting outside on 8th St but we might want to change the place we eat after a couple people show up. Its just Ned and pcgeek confirmed so far, right?

Sorry, but I'm shagged from two days of driving. I'd rather be vertical for the party than for tonight, so I'm out.

No problem. . Changed our table from 8 to 6. Still looking at an hour but we'll stay here.

Do you still need brats and buns? Think I can manage some of that (Sam's club card, dontcha know)

I'm thinking I will be able to make it. I think I have a couple of decent spare laptops to bring for the sale/trade stuff if anyone's interested.

Well crap we just left downtown holland because all the restaurants were so busy after the fest thing.

Ditto. I really only throw the bags once a year, and that's at the TR BBQ outing... So no biggie...

I *REALLY* miss being there on Friday night (now) the day before... I miss the hanging out, the games, etc... Oh well, see ya'll in the early morning!

Can't wait to see everyone gonna be a great BBQ this year!

I picked up a single box of Johnsonville® Original Bratwurst Patties from Sams......not sure how many people eat pork, so I only got one box; also, not sure you can cook them on a stick.
Its frozen so in a cooler it will make the trip just fine.

(I forgot to get buns for my stuff, but can pick some up plus extra if need be)

When I get close, I can pick up a veggie tray or two, so that its nice and fresh.

How much water do we have? I figure that we will need to make at least one quick ice run, so we can always get more stuff.

okay, it looks like i will be bringing 3 unused disposable razors, a hard copy of Dune (the book), and a Metra rail card good for EIGHT more uses.

I am sooo flippin' excited for the BBQ today! Fishie, please let me know if I can buy last-minute things to help out...I've already given Mom a bit of cash for sweetcorn, and I'll keep an eye out at the farmer's market for other goodies to bring too! I've always been a food-mooch in previous years, but I actually have moolah this year to contribute. Also, I'd love to come back Sunday to help clean up.

Sorry, I kept meaning to but had about a dozen people sending me txts and PMs so i barely even participated in the conversation.

Anyone checking the LiveStream if you could report what you see if anything I would appreciate it. I fear the 0.12Mbps upload speed will kill the plan because all I can see when I try to view it is the "offline" message - but the connection is SO bad that might be a problem limited to this location...

Edit: It was working for a little while but the connection was so bad it might not be worth any further effort. Oh well.

That was fun! I'm glad it worked better than this morning. I will make sure to place an update in the thread before I start it up again. I plan on airing the cornhole tourney for sure and other random spots throughout the day. For now I'm going to take a crack at setting up the raft and then eat.

Inflating that thing can be fun. How bout some semi-realtime pics?

Well, thanks drfish for his livestream. I think this is another step forward for the TR BBQ.

I wish everyone a safe trip back home, and that the cleanup was not so bad.

Wow, that was so much fun - and I was SO ready for sleep last night. I'm back at the cottage now and chilling with the few remaining attendees before we officially call it a wrap.
