Olympus used to make some of the better digital cams back in the early 2000's, IIRC. We have a Canon now and have been pleased with it.

Olympus also made some decent 35mm point-and-shoot cameras back in the day. That's why I was surprised at how bad some of their recent digicams apparently are.
