Just for fun, I reran the tests while simultaneously running a fur filter on a 10 inch by 10 inch by 1000 dpi image of random noise. The benchmarks finished before the render. Here are new results:

My PC, Merlin The StripeSets are WinNT's and not separate raid controllers. I just use the fastest 1Mb of each drive and I keep my OS and application swap files on those partitions.
