Hahaha, before you write me off as crazy, Yahoo just released this new search engine called "Axis" and rather than just displaying a hyperlink, it displays a picture of the webpage as your typing your search engine query.

It is a small download that gets installed and I have to say, it's certainly different. In the bottom right hand corner of your browser is a small search bar. When you click the search bar, it'll expand to 1/4 of your screen and show the home pages of your search query. When you click off it minimizes right away.

I think this is pretty neat and will be using it some more. One big disadvantage is if you have slow internet.

It has a security vulnerability as well. ENJOY.

Sounds exactly like Google result "details"

That has been around for so long that I can't even remember what google did with the space to the right of your results before it existed.

Agreed, but when the vulnerability has been made public, i would stay away from that application, atleast till patch is not released.

It's not a unique idea but it's a unique approach. I admire what they're doing.
I don't admire the guy in the demonstration video, though. His neck is too long.
