I enjoyed the heck out of it. It was a shame that Dench's M won't be back

Javier Bardem can be a great villain. This performance was on par with his portrayal of Anton Chigurh.
I really liked Pierce Brosnan, but after Goldeneye they just kept giving him terrible stories with TERRIBLE bad guys.
The vibe I got from Skyfall was that he did. Once.Sargent Duck wrote:I liked Skyfall and how they brought everything full circle and answered the age old question, WHY James Bond never slept with MoneyPenny.
In fact, the only Bond I really don't like is Roger Moore's characterization.

I thought that Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace were more faithful to the character and style of bond movies than this one was. Then again, I guess they rebooted the series for a reason.

Crayon Shin Chan wrote:Funny, I find the second characterization more interesting - a steel hand wrapped in velvet, so to say. Why do you like the first one? You could just watch a Bourne movie for that...
