Googled that, looks very different, at least the official definition;

Aha! Found it!

This sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Count me in. I will probably be bringing my four kids.

Done!

Forge, for Sunday Saturday night are you planning on staying onsite? I have a couple beds left but not in rooms you wouldn't be sharing (wow, double negative much?)...

I'm quite flexible. Assuming the weather is decent, I have no problem at all with sleeping in my car. It's got folding rear seats that make it a very usable sleeping space. If there's a proper bed I would be appreciative, but I don't expect anything. I have no objections to shared rooms or anything along those lines. Shared beds, not so much. ;)

Edit: You mean Saturday night into Sunday morning, right? I plan to spend all day (post breakfast & cleanup) Sunday driving, arriving home late Sunday night.

First post updated! Remember that just because someone's name is next to something doesn't mean you can't bring some too, we're going to need a lot of supplies! :o

At the very least I think everyone should try to bring enough chairs for you and whoever is traveling with you, and maybe a small table. Blanket on the ground works too, although not so well in rain.
I try to bring extra chairs if I can fit them, as well as a table or two...........and I would bring more tables if no one took them. (looks at gleek) lol

drfish, as usual, I'll be on stand-by to make any last minute stops to pick up what is needed when I get close, along with some cash for the fireworks or any other BBQ related expense when I get there.

To nobody's surprise, I plan to bring assorted beer.

(But if you prefer to drink mass-produced light lagers, you're on your own; I won't be bringing any of that...)

First post updated!

I wouldn't go crazy with firewood, I think 2-3 of the $5 bundles you can buy at most gas stations would be great.

Anyone heard from PRIME1 BTW?

Probably no on the New Glarus, it isn't available in IL. If I make it up to the WI border before then (unlikely...) I'll grab some.

Yes on the homebrew!

I have give or take 20 craft beers from the east coast, mostly dark I'll be bringing as well and more than likely 10 pounds of blue berries I always pick up on the way.

I'll bring some soda & water (as well as a sampling of VT beers), not that anyone drank the bottled water I brought last year. Hopefully I can get the cooler out of the back seat without scarring myself (yes, still have a good mark on that shin).
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

I'll see about bringing a case of Mexican Coca-Cola (with sugar, not HFCS!), and I can be counted on to drink water if it's cold. I'll hit the shopping list the day before I leave and see what I can pick up and bring along that's not too heavy/bulky, too.

If you're moving "firm maybe" people to the confirmed list, you really ought to move me there too. I'm coming unless there's an unscheduled disaster on the home or work fronts.

Nothing quite like being in extreme pain after badly spraining my ankle, yet laughing uncontrollably at the insanity of the walker being brought out to me. And Asian Porn. LOL

Put us down for some desserts, some condiments, and of course I'll be bringing my bean bag set per the usual.

I'll help bring a variety of chips and the smores stuff.

I'll talk to idchafee and see if I can help bring firewood, as I have lots of natural--dependent on the vehicle I bring.
