He'll end up here.
Apologies for the dark photos. My mobile doesn't do nearly as well in very low light as my DSLR does. Had dinner at The Church Brew Works. Tried the Pious Monk Dunkel, Millennium Trippel, Zwarte Piet’s Xmas, and Celestial Gold. All were quite good. While I am by no means qualified to properly judge beers, I would say each proved to be a fine example their respective styles. The Zwarte Piet's was a bit strong on the cloves for my liking, but was a quite good holiday bear and if your like cloves and gingerbread, its great. Personally, I like a good Dunkel and the I could have just ordered several Pious Monks and been happy as could be, but I was in a sampling mood. Texas has some pretty good beers, but we don't quite seem to have the knack that some of the northern states do. I'm partial the the Rahr Texas Red and of course there's Shiner, which is really my version of Budweiser and the like. Its the everyday drinking beer that's always in the fridge and does great after a hot day working in the yard.
Wasn't planning on being in Pittsburgh tonight, but good beer can cure many ills.
