The middle of nowhere?

Mon Feb 24, 2014 10:59 pm

So I was looking up some suspicious entries in site logs and I found this one. :o
Maybe not exactly the middle of nowhere, but it's got to be inside-a-meteorite's-blast-radius from there.

Geolocating IPs beyond country is a fools' game if you're relying on public tools.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

Bah. Try getting lost as hell while working on a merit badge (I dont' remember which one). And getting picked up with your dad, by a park ranger that just happened to be passing by...on foot...that was happy to find you cause an APB was out on you and your dad because you were a day + overdue in the west Texas mountains, where the Rockies finally gentally give up the ghost and kinda fall into the plains.

You want middle of nowhere? The places I saw during htat--when we weren't sure if we'd get found--that was the BFE. Bah, humbug!
Ugly people have sex all the time. We wouldn't have 6 and a half billion humans if you had to be beautiful to get laid.

Looks like a fairly typical drop point for a round of GeoGuessr.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
