I bought a new Husqvarna 7021P lawn mower from Amazon last week. It got here today, mostly in good order except for the safety bar being detached and on the box floor. That wasn't supposed to happen and there does not appear to be a way for an unskilled person to reattach it - it won't stay inside the holes.
I contacted Husqvarna first and was informed that I can bring it to a repair center (there's one just a mile down the road) and submit a warranty claim. Just for yuks I then contacted Amazon and the rep agreed to ship me a new mower, no need to return the old one (which is good; I cut the box open to get the mower out per the manual's instructions). So in 1 to 1.5 weeks I'll have a second brand-new mower.
The first one's spoken for already: a friend who's been down on her luck lost her old one in a fire and I'm going to let her have it.
