Good Indie games in the Steam sale?

Fri Feb 05, 2016 9:15 pm

I've recently played Banner Saga, Bastion, Transistor, and Invisible Inc., and I have Renowned Explorers: International Society on my bought but to-play list for once I get a computer issue sorted.

Any recommendations?

Try Waking Mars? It's 80% off, I played it myself had a fun time.

Edit: The Talos Principle 75% off, is another one I played it's made by Croteam know for Serious Sam but The Talos Principle is about solving puzzles but involves more than just puzzles how about some philosophy.

It would take you 2,363 continuous hours or 98 days,11 hours, and 35 minutes of gameplay to complete your Steam library.
In this time you could travel to Venus one time.

Don't Starve - $3.74 (-75%)

Life is Strange - $11.99 (-50%)

Dungeon of the Endless - $6.45 (-66%)

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime - $9.89 (-34%)

Convoy - $7.49 (-50%)

Gunpoint - $4.99 (-50%)

VVVVVV - $1.24 (-75%)

That I haven't played but have heard good things about:

Kingdom
Undertale
Crypt of the Necrodancer
Sir, You Are Being Hunted ($19.99 on Steam, $1.99 at Bundlestars - they sell steam keys)
BroForce
Wind, Sand and Stars.

Oh yeah, those are great games as well. I also liked Dust - An Elysian Tale, which is a fantasy metroidvania combat platformer.

Ah yes Dust-An Elysian Tail is another one he should make time for. Was trying to decide if he would be interested in Papers, Please, Trine Enchanted Edition, Trine 2: Complete Story not sure what the status is of Trine 3 but last heard it was a skip it.

Papers Please is a great, great game. Pity it's not on sale at the main steam store. But if he can find a reseller with a discount, definitely get it.
