You do not necessarily need the headset to play on Live. Some people play certain games without it.

You should try OutRun 2! It's tons of fun and if you are a sucker for the old OutRun arcade game you'll absolutely love it.

You should try OutRun 2! It's tons of fun and if you are a sucker for the old OutRun arcade game you'll absolutely love it.

It's on my Christmas list, along with Forza MotorSports (which I think got delayed into early 2005...but the demo in this month's OXM is pretty sweet)

I have been enjoying the single player.

Online, I just can't get used to. I like playing UT2k4, Doom3 etc that move a lot faster. I just keep wanting to run. And I swear I unload both guns into a person and nothing, while I frequently get killed in one shot.

I probably just need more practice.

So you move slow like BF1942 or MOH? That's kinda sucks. THere is no "run always" function?

From what I have read, that's just the way it is and you have to get used to it. Playing single player I don't mind the speed at all, but during a deathmatch it gets frustrating. It might be better in a capture the flag type game.

After I finish the single player of Halo 2, I may keep playing Crimson Skies online. That is still fun.

Top Spin is a blast. There are some REALLY good players. LOTS of people still playing that game.

YMMV, but from what I have seen, the Rainbow series gameplay is much better than Ghost Recon. If you do get it I would be interested what you think of it though...

GR2 is much difference from the other GR games. It was really overhauled for this sequel. Check this review out.

People I have spoken to say the map in GR2 are HUGE and Rainbox six maps are ususally smaller and indoors or close quarters.

Well, even though RS does have some large mape - a lot are CQB. I kinda like that.

However, you're right, GR:2 does look pretty slick. I'll have to rent it and try it out.

OT: Has anyone else seen how insane Blockbuster is with video game rentals now? They charge $6.99 for a weekly game (GAME, not the whole console, just the game!) rental!!
