What are you playing / looking forward to?

I'm playing nothing, because nothing strikes my fancy at the moment. I'm still REALLY looking forward to Conan MMO, but I'm not counting on it making it's release date. I like MMO's and have been debating about going back to DDO because it was my favorite, I've heard they fixed a lot of things for better solo play. I find myself picking up emulators more and more rather than looking for 'new' games. Maybe I need to buy a console....

I installed some new mods for Oblivion so I went back to playing that. I had fun playing the vanilla game, but the leveling system irked the hell out of me. The mods I have been using almost make it a new game. But it certainly makes it a lot more fun to play. So thats something that you probably already have to can be made to seem new.

Yesterday I started playing Dungeonsiege 2 again. I think I'm close to the end.

Beat Uncharted on the PS3 a week ago and I am working on CoD4 now.

Other than that I haven't played any newish games in a while. I occasionally fire up Forsaken, Thief II, Dungeonkeeper 2, Heretic 2, and Doom 2 on my retro box.

I gave up on the last level of Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars playing as Nod. Too hard. Likewise in the middle of the Night Elf campaign in Warcraft 3.

Company of Heroes sits uninstalled on my desk, next to Titan Quest. Maybe someday I'll get around to playing both. Maybe not. I just don't seem to have the inclination to play new PC games anymore.

Plus, with the weather warming up, I'll be spending a fair amount of time getting acquainted with my new motorcycle.
Molon labe.

Man, you are really missing out. Company of Heroes and the Warhammer: Dawn of War series are some of my favorite games ever. The games actually focus on strategy and tactics opposed to other RTSs (i.e. CNC) tendency to be a "build up and zerg" type of game.

I'm excited for Mario Kart Wii which is coming out soon. I'm still wanting to pick up COD4 and Rainbox Six Vegas 2 for the 360, though I'm getting burned out on FPSs.

I play Team Fortress 2 just about every day.

Other than that, I've started playing Fallout 2 again. I've never finished it, and I had forgotten how much fun it is. The downside is I lose track of time really easily while playing, and then, what-do-you-know, it's 2am. :-?

Oh, and Rock Band!

I'm playing Half-Life 2: ep.2 and F.E.A.R.: Perseus Mandate. I'm looking forward to Stalker: Clear Sky, Alan Wake, FarCry 2, Deus Ex 3 and Project Origin (sequel to F.E.A.R.).

I haven't read much about the new RPG from Bethesda. But rumor has it that it's coming out sometime in 2009 or 2010 and it might be called "Elder Scrolls V: Shadow Realm."

Fat chance of Bethesda released any ES titles anytime soon. I'd say 2011 or 2012. And if memory serves, they trademarked the name Skyrim already, so I'm guessing the game will take place there and the name will be Skyrim as well.

Assassin's Creed is coming out for PC soon...I'm thinking of buying that one.

I'm currently playing Pokemon diamond. It's pretty fun, but after a while the hoops you have to jump trough to catch some pokemon just gets annoying, not to mention there's a friggin' ton of them now.

On PC, I really like World in Conflict. I got it around the holidays and still play it. Also, the Inoj mod for FEAR has added a decent amount of replay value to that game for me.

Playing TF2 mostly. Some Company of Heroes on the side.

Looking forward to Mass Effect (as I don't own an XBox360).

Still going strong on CS:S and in some parts Battlefield 2142 although my comp is abit limited for titan mode. Only have a p4 2.8Ghz Prescott with a 9800XT(flashed 9800Pro) and 2GB ram. Soon gonna by a new comp.

Although i spend quite abit of time on my friends Xbox with Army of Two and Guitarr Hero 3. Especially GH3 is really addictive.

I'm currently playing C&C: Tiberium Wars ... again! I finished the GDI campaign last year and started playing the NOD campaign intermittently afterwards, but only started heavily playing again by continuing the NOD campaign over the last few weeks. I love this game and loved the earlier titles in the franchise too. I’m really looking forward to playing the Scrin campaign once I’m done with NOD.

Sins of a solar empire has a lot of people psyched, but personally I tried the demo but didn't like it too much.
Tried the WiC demo and liked the SP part of it, I need some more pratice to get some decent MP game.
As Scare i'm also looking foward for Mass Effect, besides oblivion nothing has really fixed my RPG needs for a while.
Rock band seems like a very fun game, but I don't have enough $$ for that one yet.
Crysis was fun but after SP I didn't play it too much, i'm just toying around with the level editor.
Random Game: Dark Crusade. The new WH 40K expansion didn't really add anything new, it looks very recycled.
Assassin's creed is on my radar but ill likely try a demo first, the game seems very pretty but repetitive.
Frozen Throne to play some DoTA mostly.
Team Fortress has been sitting in my HD, mostly because I'm having too much ping and get kicked out of games :/

2 cents

I'm currently playing mainly Fallout 2 with restoration patch v1.1 and Natural-Selection, which is a Halflife mod. Sometimes a little Baldur's Gate 2. In addition to those I occasionally play some retro games like Tycoon Deluxe and UFO: Enemy Unknown. I'm somewhat looking forward to Fallout 3. I really hope it will be another great Fallout game, even though I don't have my hopes all too high.

I've been playing: TF2, Mario Galaxy, the Witcher, Sins of a Solar Empire and a little World in Conflict. Since I do not know of any PC games coming out soon and am sick of FPS, I think it may be time to beef up the Wii library. One thing though, the difference in graphic fidelity between the wii and my pc makes my eyes bleed.

Well I'm playing a lot of Gran Turismo 5 Pro from Japan. Can't read a damn thing in the menus, but the game is great. Throw some SKATE and CoD4 in there. Still trying to keep up with Live For Speed in the sim racing world.

I downloaded and allegedly installed the OOO mod for oblivion correctly, how can I tell if I have it working? Is there a "sure thing" such as "This is definitely different" ... I made an orc hand-to-hand knight.

While I've never down the OOO mod, I'd reckon go to some various dungeons and see how the monster layout is. I know OOO does away with the level system, so theoretically certain dungeons (I'm guessing bigger, more important quest related ones) would have monsters that are much more difficult than your current level, and such. And you should no longer find leveled items, so try looking around for some Dwemer/Dwarven and Glass armor with your low level Orc. That is pure assumption though.

Currently I'm back at school and on my POS laptop so no games for me :( . When I come home though, I'll be firing up the ol' ES II: Daggerfall and ES III: Morrowind. And then I'll be cruising through the BG series on my summer vacation as well. I'll also attempt to finish Oblivion once and for all, and continue toying around with the WC III: TFT map editor.
