Oooh, yeah, WotC gets real irritable about hardlinkers.

Nobody knows when Doom3 will be out. Could be anywhere between 'soon' and 'never'. Smart money places it somewhere between June and November, though.

Uh quick question,,, whats a hardlink? I think i may have done this inadvertently to another site and do not wish to do it again. So do i get expressed permission from site? Can I link a picture form some sort of software I can set up from my comp? ie, ftp server and what not, My webpage is kind of full and i like to be considerate of other servers. Say if i post a link of not a pic but a page, Does this cause more bandwidth problems? Cause in one of my recent posts i pointed to tomshardware.
Edit: Im sure this has been asked already but where on earth did you get a 9800 pro, are they free and where can i sign up?

i changed the image because of its size because i didnt want to differ,as long as the wotc are concerned you might want to reconsider your thoughts...

Generally it is of poor form and borderline legality to directly link certain content for display on a webpage that is not owned by the hoster of the original content. It is still up in the air as to what that content can be. Deep linking even of HTML pages is sometimes borderline. Hot topic right now.

Directly linking pictures is definitely a no-no. If you want to post a picture from another webpage on yours, it is best to copy it onto your own server and use your own bandwidth that you are paying for.

Basically, don't steal bandwidth. If you want to post pictures, you should be paying for the bandwidth it takes. Use common sense and common courtesy.
