:( looks like I missed the Fallout 3 and Civ 5 deals.. I'm still eying the Bethesda pack... That seems like a pretty good deal, no? Esp since I've been waiting for a chance to play Fallout 3...

Why does Activision think that Call of Duty 4 is still worth $30? Steam is running a sale on it for $15, but that should be the normal price. It's more than three years old and there have been three CoD games since then. I'm glad I bought it used for less than $10 last year.

I agree! I'm sort of appalled that 15 is the sale pricee. May get my brother to buy it so we can frag each other on MP though.
edit: Also buying JC2 and Assasin's Creed 2 at those prices. and plant vs zombie

Just got Trials 2, and this thing sucks!! US$2,50 wasted on a terrible game. I wonder if any of the guys that made this crap actually rode a bike in their lifes?

Can't comment too much on AC2, but AC1 was fun for the first bit then became very repetitive. The gameplay was very simple as well.

AC2 on the PS3 was a lot more fun for me than AC1... For some reason I was more enamored of the story line in AC2 than AC1

Snagged Lara Croft, Burnout Paradise, Resident Evil 5, Just Cause 2 so far! Hope they put Street Fighter 4 on sale again, missed it the last time because Steam blocked my credit card(auto blocked when you spend over a certain limit within a small time period - thanks to the TF2 store and my unboxing craze). By the time they unblocked it, the sale was over.:evil: SF4 is difficult to get here in India and it was priced at Rs. 2500 - what a rip-off! :x

my brother's filling up his 750 gig HDD on this :D He's down to 120 gigs free. He's thinking of buying another terabyte one.
I wonder if Seagate, WD et al subsidize this :lol:

When did steam remove metacritic scores form game description pages???

They made it optional. You generally only see it marked on games that do well. I think some game developers would like to not have to worry about the accountability that Metacritic brings.

Anyone played Wings of Prey? 78/100 on Metacritic. Sounds like it could be good; I've been looking for a good combat flight sim since TIE Fighter.

Borderlands is an absolute blast. I would definitely get it with the DLC packages.

and I just bought New Vegas.
I'm going to have to schedule my gaming over the next year to catch up. I think I'm done for the season with buying.
I may also need to buy a bigger hard drive now :oops:

Hah! If you think Civ 5 is expensive when it's not on sale, have a look at http://www.steamprices.com/au/search?civilization+v. $US80 in Australia (where I live), compared with thirty quid in the UK! I'd like it, but not at that sort of price disparity! Even with 25% off, it's still priced massively over the odds. Think I'll go out and pick up a board game or two instead.

Borderlands is like my second love of FPS game, and the first was CS:source.
